Amravati Regional Training Institute, established on 15th January 1989, came to be known as Dr. Punjabrao Deshmukh Vidarbha Administrative and Development Training Institute, Amravati from 9th September 1997 onwards. Later, it became known as Prabodhini Amravati and is one of the prestigious government training institutes. As per the notification by the General Administration Department of the state government, it currently functions as the Amravati Divisional Administrative and Training Institute.

This institute conducts foundational, post-promotion, and refresher training sessions for officers and employees in Group C, B, and A categories working in various departments of the state government. The objective is to enhance the efficiency and performance of all officers and employees in state administration while making their behavior more citizen-centric.

Every year, officers and employees from various departments across the state attend training at this institute, and they share their experiences afterward. The success of the institute is greatly attributed to the dedicated contribution of its officers, assistant professors, technical assistants, and staff. Furthermore, the institute receives timely guidance and cooperation from senior officials, including the Chief Secretary, Additional Secretary, and Deputy Secretary from the state’s General Administration Department. Assistance is also provided in organizing various training sessions.

With the support of the director and team at YASHADA (the state’s premier administrative training institute) in planning and executing training programs, Prabodhini Amravati has successfully conducted all these training-related activities. The institute is committed to continuing its mission of imparting knowledge and providing well-disciplined, enjoyable training to all officers and employees across the state.
