History Of Institute
Establishment Of An Organization
• Original Establishment – The Divisional Commissioner, Amravati established a training center named “Aarti” (Amravati Regional Training Institute) on 15th January, 1990 to train the officers and employees of the Revenue and Rural Development Department of Amravati Division.
• This training center was named as Vidarbha Administrative and Development Training Prabodhini, Amravati as per Government Decision, General Administration Department, dated December 07, 1996 and this institute was established as an independent autonomous organization for Vidarbha (on the lines of success).
• After that, under the Government Decision, General Administration Department, dated September 09, 1997 Dr. Punjabrao Deshmukh Vidarbha Administrative and Development Training Prabodhini, Amravati was renamed.
• General Administration Department vide Govt Decision dated 14th October, 2013 declared this Institute as Divisional Administrative and Training Institute for Amravati Division under State Training Policy.
• To achieve the ultimate goal of people-oriented administration by providing training to officers/employees and public representatives of various departments in Vidarbha,
• To improve the system of office work and increase the knowledge and skills of officers/employees at individual and team level. To improve the thinking system of officers/employees
• Providing training for this at regular intervals

The direct functioning of the organization is carried out through the administrative structure. Policy decisions are taken through the governing body and the executive committee.
Premises-
• Presently Prabodhini It is spread over 4.70 hectares area.
• The premises of the institute are mainly divided into three areas, namely training and administrative premises, residential premises and sports premises.
