Original Establishment: The Divisional Commissioner of Amravati established a training center named “ARTI” (Amravati Regional Training Institute) on 15th January 1990 to provide training to the officers and employees of the Revenue and Rural Development Department in Amravati Division.
Through a government decision by the General Administration Department on 7th December 1996, the training center was renamed “Divisional Administrative and Development Training Institute, Amravati” and was declared as an independent autonomous institution (registered organization).
Later, as per the government decision by the General Administration Department on 9th September 1997, the institution was renamed “Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Divisional Administrative and Development Training Institute, Amravati.”
Through another government decision by the General Administration Department on 14th October 2013, the institution was declared a Divisional Administrative Training Institute under the state’s training policies for Amravati Division.
